YES!!! THE FIVE-YEAR-OLD BOY AND HIS FATHER HAVE BEEN RELEASED!!

Liam Cornejo Ramos and his father, Adrian Alexander Conejo Ramos, were released early this morning. Rep. Joaquin Castro personally picked them up from the detention center and escorted them back to Minnesota.
Of course, they should never have been detained in the first place! But I am so glad and so relieved that they have been released!
This IS our judicial system working. This IS why our founders created three branches. This IS the third branch hip-checking the executive branch because the legislative branch isn’t doing their job.
And this IS we the people working to get these things in front of the judicial branch to make sure they see what’s going on!
And, in case you missed it, boy was that judge hopping mad! I have almost never seen a judge put something that forceful, with that much pure undisguised anger, in an order (and make no mistake, I’ve seen a lot)!
