What you’re looking at here is historical chocolate elixirs from the fantastic Kakawa Chocolate House, and the result of using them in my wonderful frother!! Kakawa recreates chocolate elixirs from authentic historic recipes, from the meso-American through the early European and American. As you may know, originally chocolate was prepared for drinking  unsweetened and with various spices and such. 3 ounces of water, 2 tablespoons of the elixir powder, set it on the hot chocolate setting in the frother, and wow is it good!
