The Trump administration knows that what ICE is doing to peaceful protesters is becoming public. They’re realizing that protesters are acting within their legal rights, and that reality deeply upsets the MAGA movement. MAGA doesn’t believe people should be able to protest or stand up. Once videos and firsthand accounts reach the public, they spread quickly and widely, making it impossible to control the narrative. That loss of control is why they’re now threatening the use of the Insurrection Act hoping fear and intimidation will silence the resistance. They call us “snowflakes,” and pretend we can be scared into submission. What they don’t understand is we aren’t afraid.
