THE SAVE ACT DOES NOT REQUIRE YOU TO REREGISTER TO VOTE!!
But you may have to reregister if you move or your voter registration has lapsed due to inactivity (like you haven’t voted in 10 years) – both of which have *always* been the case – and then you can be asked for proof of citizenship *IF* the SAVE Act passes. But remember that I , Anne P. Mitchell, Esq.*, think that it passing is unlikely as it has been languishing in the Senate for nearly a year. In other words they haven’t been able to get it passed while trying for nearly a year.
