NEW MEXICO LEGISLATURE WILL INVESTIGATE EPSTEIN’S ZORRO RANCH!
Just a few hours ago the New Mexico House of Representatives passed a *unanimous* *bipartisan* measure to open investigations into Epstein’s Zorro ranch. The legislation, HR 1 (included for Notes from the Front members) empowers a committee of four representatives (two Democrats and two Republicans) to “investigate Zorro ranch and the related allegations of criminal activity to determine whether legislation or other legislative action is needed to:
A. prevent and properly punish crime;
B. protect children and other vulnerable persons;
C. establish sufficient procedures for securing civil justice;
D. ensure proper use and stewardship of public money and resources; and
E. provide for public accountability”
It further provides that “the committee be vested with all necessary powers and process, including the powers to conduct hearings, compel the attendance of witnesses, administer oaths and issue subpoenas.”
They are planning to talk with victims, and to dig into why reports of abuse at Zorro ranch were never fully investigated.
Note that in 2023 Zorro ranch was purchased by former Texas state representative Don Huffines and further note that Don Huffines’ son Russell works… wait for it… in Trump’s White House, as the Associate Director of Agency Outreach in the White House Office of Cabinet Affairs.
