Many people said we were exaggerating and called us liars. As we warned (and as many expected) the DOJ has now acknowledged misconduct by the Trump administration and DOGE employees. Investigators found that Social Security data was unlawfully accessed and misused, including an agreement signed by a DOGE employee with a political organization to compare Social Security records with state voter rolls they had acquired. Reporting and court filings show that, in March 2025, two DOGE employees at the Social Security Administration discussed analyzing voter roll data tied to efforts to challenge or undermine election results in order to appease Trump.
That’s why this matters sensitive personal data was pulled into partisan election activity it was never meant for. And yes, there are still serious, unanswered questions about where that data went and who may still have access to it. It is likely that DOGE employees, and Elon, still have copies or backups with access.
