EPSTEIN DIDN’T WANT JANE DOE’S ATTORNEY TO TAKE TRUMP’S DEPOSITION (Documents included)

I just dug up something that made me go hrmmmm…

In a sworn affidavit by attorney Bradley Edwards, an attorney for Epstein victims Jane Doe (one of them) and L.M. (full affidavit included for Notes from the Front members), Edwards says, among many other things:

“Epstein alleges that there was something improper in the fact that I notified him that I intended to take Donald Trump’s deposition in the civil suits against him.”

Now, why would Epstein even care that an attorney wanted to take Trump’s deposition? (Which, in fact, never happened.)

Before reading further, bear in mind that an attorney is very unlikely to make stuff up under oath, or even stretch the truth, because doing so can get them disbarred, even jailed.

Some of the reasons that Edwards said it was proper for him to learn what Trump knew include “(e) Mark Epstein (Jeffrey Epstein’s brother) testified that Trump flew on Jeffrey Epstein’s plane with him (the same plane that Jane Doe 102 alleged was used to have sex with underage girls); (f) Trump visited Epstein at his home in Palm Beach – the same home where Epstein abused minor girls daily; (g) Epstein’s phone directory from his computer contains 14 phone numbers for Donald Trump, including emergency numbers, car numbers, and numbers to Trump’s security guard and houseman.”

While the deposition never happened, I *do* have, in another set of documents, a copy of the notice of deposition, and also Trump’s name on a witness list submitted to the Court. I’ll be sharing those documents tomorrow. (They’re part of another 150+ page file.)

In addition to the above affidavit, there is a second affidavit (it actually comes first in the file) where Edwards is trying to get the Court to order journalist George Rush to turn over a tape recording he has *of Epstein* talking with him about the girls, the lawsuits, etc..

Again, remember, this is a bar-admitted attorney swearing under oath to the facts as he is asserting them. Generally speaking, lawyers are *very* careful about this because lying under oath can, as I mentioned, get them disbarred and jailed.

Notes from the Front members: the affidavits are in your inbox now.

To preserve original source documents before they can be tampered with (remember the 16 documents that mysteriously disappeared from the Epstein files?), and protect myself from claims of improper republication, and trolls, I don’t publicly share documents I find, I make them available privately to Notes from the Front members. Often these are non-public documents for which I have had to pay out of my own pocket in order to share them with you. Others of them may be public but I find the source originals for you and include explanations and insights based on my decades of law practice and as a law professor, with a side of snark. ;~)

You can join below for immediate access to this and other documents, the archives, our private chat, etc.. – it’s $5 a month which both keeps the trolls out, and helps to cover my expenses for our private dropbox, for purchasing transcripts and documents to share with you, etc..
