A federal court delivered a mixed ruling on California’s mask law for federal officers. While the judge paused enforcement of the mask ban itself, the court affirmed that ICE and other officers must display proper identification. Requiring visible IDs makes it easier to document misconduct, demand oversight, and protect community rights.
