The Supreme Court is slowly stripping Congress of its power. This isn’t just about Trump, precedents like this don’t vanish once he’s out of office. When the political winds shift, the same unchecked authority could just as easily be turned the other way. It’s a dangerous game. The Court sided with the Trump administration in a case that allowed them to hold back $4 billion in foreign aid already approved by Congress a first step in testing how far a president can seize control of the purse from lawmakers.
