Trump violated the law by firing government watchdogs, yet they won’t be reinstated, got it, so violations of the law are apparently okay? A federal judge in Washington rejected a bid to restore eight inspectors general who were dismissed shortly after Trump became president. Judge Ana C. Reyes of the U.S. District Court found that Trump had acted in violation of statutes governing such removals, but concluded that reinstating them now would serve little purpose.
