Trump is so worried about a mayoral candidate? Does he really want to control every single thing that happens in this country? (Rhetorical, yes, he does.) Trump blasted Gov. Kathy Hochul’s endorsement of New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani, calling it “a rather shocking development, and a very bad one for New York City” in a Truth Social post. He has even threatened to pull federal funding from the city. It’d be wise for him to remember that New York is a net contributor of tax revenue, unlike many red states, which are net recipients from the federal government.
