“I tell you something that is going to get me in trouble, but I couldn’t care less. They want men in women’s sports, they want transgender for everyone, they want open borders. The worst thing that happened to this country.”

Democrats opposed a moment of prayer for Kirk in the House – Misleading. The House did hold a moment of prayer at Speaker Mike Johnson’s request. Later, when a member requested a spoken prayer, objections caused disorder, fueling the distorted claim.
