Despite previously stating in court that it would hold off on enforcing a controversial executive order, the Trump administration has proceeded with efforts to dismantle collective bargaining rights for federal unions across numerous agencies. The Department of Veterans Affairs announced it was eliminating labor protections for over 400,000 employees, most of whom are represented by the American Federation of Government Employees, the largest union for federal workers.
