Good news! The pointless weekly “five things” memos that federal employees have been emailing into what felt was a black hole are officially being retired, the Office of Personnel Management announced. In a statement, OPM Director Scott Kupor said, “We informed agency HR leaders that OPM will no longer oversee the ‘five things’ process or use it internally. We believe managers are responsible for keeping up with their team’s work and already have plenty of other tools to do that.”
