Another tantrum.
Trump is now accusing a federal judge of “lawless defiance” because the judge refused to greenlight deporting eight migrants to South Sudan, a country they’ve never lived in, without a chance to argue they’d face torture.

The Trump administration went back to the Supreme Court again Tuesday, demanding “clarity” after the Court’s vague Monday order allowed fast-track deportations to third countries. That ruling paused a previous injunction from U.S. District Judge Brian Murphy, who had said due process must be given before deporting people to unfamiliar nations.

But here’s the twist: the eight men at the center of this weren’t even covered by the paused injunction. Judge Murphy had already issued a separate order protecting them weeks earlier. So when the government asked to deport them anyway, he said no, and Trump threw a fit.

This isn’t about lawlessness. It’s about a president throwing a tantrum because a judge followed the law.
