We’re sure many of you have heard about the growing controversy in Oklahoma, where parents are pushing back against a new curriculum quietly pushed through by the state’s superintendent.

Without notifying some members of the education board before the vote, the superintendent added standards requiring high school students to “analyze discrepancies” in the 2020 election, despite the fact that these claims have been thoroughly debunked.

Students would be asked to study false theories about “batch dumps” of ballots and supposed “security risks” of voting by mail echoing Donald Trump’s disproven claims that the election was stolen. It teaches students Trump didn’t “lose in 2020”.

The curriculum also directs students to “identify the source of the COVID-19 pandemic from a Chinese lab,” a theory promoted by Trump but still debated among scientists and intelligence experts.

This is not education. This is political propaganda.
