Well folks, as the day winds down, we’re hearing stories from coalition members all across the country and let us tell you, they’re amazing. So many heartfelt moments. Thank you for showing so much kindness at today’s events. A lot of us are heading home tonight with full hearts and big smiles.
We had 36,300 coalition members out there today, keeping an eye on things and making sure folks stayed safe at more than 700 events nationwide. Final numbers are still coming in, but we’re already at over 3.1 million people. That’s shy of 4/5, but still an incredible showing for a busy weekend.
From where we’re standing, this weekend was an even bigger success. Events took place right where they were needed most bringing folks together in communities that needed a little extra light and a reminder they’re not alone. We’re proud of each and every one of you.
